Schow's Ranchette offers summer camps each year.  This year will have several different camps.  There will be 2-hour 1-day Farm Day Camp; 4-hour 4-day Beginning Horse Camps; 4-hour 2-day Gymkhana Speed Event Camp; 4-hour 2-day Jumping Camp and a 4- hour 2-day Driving Camp.  

FARM DAY CAMPS

Farm camps are appropriate for kids all ages.  They are 2-hour camp that introduce children to a small farm.  They will learn about gardening and plants; have interactions with small farm animals like chickens, ducks, goats, and sheep, and learn what they provide; games, and crafts.  This is a fun, busy, educational camp.  Minimum 3 students per camp.

SPECIALIZED HORSE CAMPS

Are Intermediate/Advanced summer camps in specific areas of horsemanship. The areas of horsemanship are Jumping, Gymkhana (Speed Events) and Driving. These camps run for four hours (8:30 am-12:30 pm) for two days.

BEGINNER/INTERMEDIATE CAMPS

Are intensified group horsemanship riding lessons that teach students how to evaluate, care for, handle and ride horses safely. Lesson topics include but are not limited to, horse care, ground skills, grooming, saddling, and riding. Camps run for four hours at a time (8:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.), four days a week (Monday - Thursday).
